No lessons during major holidays (we follow the school calendar) -- if your lessons occur on a holiday, it is both parties' responsibility to find a make-up lesson.

REFERRALS:  Help me, help you!
If you refer me to a new student that signs up for lessons, you will be discounted one free lesson from your monthly payment!

PAYMENT: If tuition is not received before the tenth (10th) of the month, a $10 late fee will be incurred and lessons will be suspended until tuition is paid. Please make checks payable to CHRYSTLE MACTAL. Checks should be remitted at the first lesson each month and will total the cost of the number of lessons to be taken during the month. There is a $20.00 fee for all returned checks.

CANCELLATIONS: Lessons canceled within the twenty-four (24) hours advance notice will be rescheduled, schedule permitting. Students are responsible to pay for lessons canceled without twenty-four hours notice. No refund will be given for no-shows. If you think you will be delayed, please call to let me know if you will be coming.  Missed lessons during teacher absences (which will be notified by you through phone/email) and snow days can be made up, schedule permitting. No lessons during major holidays.

Vacation: If (client/teacher) are going away for vacation, monthly payments are still due. But each missed lesson will need to be made up within the next month.

COMMITMENT: When students enroll, they are reserving their place in the studio for the entire year. Re-registration is required. Registration fee covers materials used during lessons, including supplemental books, music sheets, and any teacher’s aide. It is better for the student to have continuity in lesson to retain information better. If a student misses lessons for a month without notifying Ms. Chrystle (sick, vacation, emergency) it is considered a no-show and lessons will be suspended.

THIRTY-DAY NOTICE OF CANCELLATION: If a student must discontinue lessons, a written, thirty-day notice is required.
Payment is due during this thirty-day period whether or not students choose to take lessons.

SUPPLIES: All instrumental students must have an instrument on which to practice regularly. Instructional books must be purchased by parent/student.

PRACTICE TIME: Students need a daily, non-interrupted time to practice. Time will vary according to teacher assignment and student levels.

PARENT INVOLVEMENT: Parental support is crucial to the success of each student. The assignment notebook is our means for communication about expectations, assignments, scheduling reminders, and progress.

CONTACT: The best way to contact is through email and phone. Please feel free to call between 9AM to 10PM if you have any cancellations, questions, or need to arrange a conference. Texting is the best way to contact if I am busy!
